What is missing on Alan Jackson's face?  His mustache. He shaved it off to make the video for his new single, 'So You Don’t Have to Love Me Anymore.‘ It’s far from a clean-shaven look for Alan. He is sporting a "stubblestache", just a hint of a mustache. It's a full committment to a "no mustache" look but it’s a long way from the classic lip-topper he’s been so closely associated with. The video for ‘So You Don’t Have to Love Me Anymore’ is below. ‘So You Don’t Have to Love Me Anymore’ is the second single from Jackson’s new album, which has yet to be released. The project is his first since leaving Sony Nashville in January 2011.

Country duo Steel Magnolia have reportedly called it quits, breaking up and leaving their record label.   The news got out after they canceled an upcoming concert in Greenville, Tennessee. “It is our understanding that the duo is no longer performing together,” Darrell Bryan, Executive Director of the Niswonger Performing Arts, said. It is confirmed that Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones are no longer with Big Machine Records, which has been their label since they won CMT’s ‘Can You Duet’ in 2009.  Joshua went into rehab and completed his treatment in time to attend the CMA Awards in November.  The duo hasn't commented officially and there is nothing on their website, Twitter or Facebook pages.

In an article in the new issue of Redbook, Tim said he and Faith Hill decided to launch their line of Soul 2 Soul fragrances at the same time like a duet. "It's like how we approach singing together: We each bring different things to the table, but our key similarities are where the sparks fly," he said.

Taylor Swift is the first-ever country artist to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine. The 22-year-old graces the February cover and inside, she talks about heartbreak.  In an article titled 'Taylor Swift: The Single Life,' the superstar opens up about wearing her heart on her musical sleeve. "There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about," the singer-songwriter reveals to Vogue. "The only way that I can feel better about myself -- pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone -- is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity."

 

  Lady Antebellum earned a double platinum certificate from the RIAA for their No. one single “Just A Kiss,” meaning it has sold more than two million downloads of the song.  While they are at it, Lady A will also be given a GOLD certification for “We Owned the Night” for over 500,000 digital downloads.The group will kick off the next leg of their tour next Friday, Jan. 27 in Tulsa, OK with Darius Rucker and special guest Thompson Square. Country music legend Merle Haggard is in the hospital in Georgia with pnuemonia.  Merle was scheduled to perform in Macon, GA Tuesday evening, but became ill before the show and was taken to a nearby hospital. His manager said that Haggard had been feeling under the weather for a week.
