Randy Travis has apologized to his fans after being arrested early Monday morning for public intoxication in Sanger Texas. The singer blamed his drinking on a post Super Bowl celebration. "I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl," Travis said in a statement. "I'm committed to being responsible and accountable and apologize for my actions."  The police report says Randy was parked in front of a Baptist Church sitting in a car with an open bottle of wine, smelling of alcohol.  The arresting officer noted that Randy told him he had been arguing with his girlfriend and thought he was close to his home in Tioga, Texas 20 miles away.  Randy spend only a hort time in the jail before being released.

Jake Owen has some new hardware he is lugging around.  Doctors have given him the ok to perform, after surgery to repair his broken collarbone, due to a snowboarding accident. Jake said. "I had eight screws and a metal plate put in to repair my collarbone, so I've had to spend a lot of time at doctor's appointments and physical therapy sessions over the past few weeks. Getting back out on stage was the best therapy I've had."  Jake played to sold out audiences his first week back on the road. "I'm thrilled to be back out on the road," Owen said. "I'm not very good at sitting around the house taking it easy,"  Jake's current single, Alone with You, entered the Top 10 this week on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart. The song is the second single from "Barefoot Blue Jean Night.

Jason Aldean says he would love to get the call to be next year's Super Bowl half time show.  "All they have to do is give me a call," Jason says, "I'm game. I would love to. I mean that's a huge deal gettin' to perform the half time show at the Super Bowl.  That's something that's a once in a lifetime thing for an artist.  All it would take on my end is a phone call from those guys asking me if I would be interested and I would be all about it." Let's hope it's from Jason Aldean's lips to Super Bowl producer's ears!

Dierks Bentley releases his sixth studio album today.  "Home" is a collection of 12 songs, 6 of them written by Dierks.  But he says he probably wrote 60 songs for the album while out on the road in 2011.  "I've worked so hard and spent so much time writing and recording this album," said Bentley. "Now we get to criss cross the country and get it in the fans' hands...I'm sure I'll be running on adrenaline the entire time." Dierk's will be on The Late Show with David Letterman this Wednesday night singing the first single from the new album, the title track "Home."  Dierks will also be a presenter on the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards this Sunday, Feb. 12.
