Country music Icon, Hank Williams Jr., is setting out on a multi-city tour that will bring him to Wichita on May 19th during the Rib Fest at Intrust Bank Arena. And, Jamey Johnson is coming with him as a special guest. Ticket information, on-sale dates, and fan club promotions will be available at www.hankjr.com. Nothing up there yet about when the tickets will be on sale.
Lady Antebellum's 'Own the Night' has reclaimed the top spot on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart following their Grammy victory last week for Best Country Album. The trio's third album has now spent a total of 10 weeks at the top of the chart since its release in September 2011. Last week's #1, Dierks Bentley's 'Home,' is now No. 5. Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party is #2, The Band Perry is at #3, with Luke Bryan's 'Tailgates and Tanlines' at No. 4.
Craig Morgan took a break from his busy schedule getting ready to launch his new album to visit a Nashville school this week and give the kids guitar lessons. They even wrote a little song together. Craig took the 8th graders at Dickson Middle School, an hour west of Nashville, 15 Dean acoustic guitars which he donated to their music program. Craig's new album, THIS OLE BOY, is in stores next Tuesday, February 28th.
