Toby Keith is trying to prep one of his horses to run in the Kentucky Derby.  The horse,  named Reckless Jerry, races for Toby’s company Dream Walkin' Farms.  Toby talked about the horse with Blood-Horse Magazine, saying Reckless Jerry was “blooming now." Toby says the horse might not have the perfect pedigree, but the horse has shown a lot of will and heart at the end of his races.

Lady Antebellum is already thinking about their next album.  "We probably have at least a dozen songs already, whether they're outside songs or ones we've written," Hillary Scott tells Billboard.com. "Songwriting is such therapy and such a release for us, and it's a way for us to not get caught up in the madness of our schedules. We really do write a lot. Whether we're at home or on the road, we'll find time to write."  But they plan to take their time on the next album.  Hillary says “because['Own the Night'], as proud as we are of it, we all feel like we rushed it a little bit. So we're going to just settle in and write and write and write.

Jason Aldean’s next album is in the hands of his producer being mixed.  He says look for more hard sound and some surprises just like on his current album ‘My Kinda Party.’ “One thing I didn’t want to go in and do was make ‘My Kinda Party II,’” Jason says, “But at the same time.....I don’t want to ever totally get away from what it is that got me to this point — that sound and hard-charging kind of thing that I’m known for, because that’s what I enjoy to play."  The yet-to-be-titled new album will hit stores around October or November of this year.
