Jerrod Niemann is ok after his bus caught fire and exploded Tuesday night.  And he has Lee Brice to thank for getting him off the burning bus. Jerrod says he had just finished a concert in Chattanooga, TN when fellow singer Lee Brice noticed the smoke and told everyone to get out. "We could see the fire moving up from the back corner of the bus, under the bus, and we were backing up, then the windshield blew out with a piece of blind stuck to it," he narrated what he saw just before the bus exploded. "All the pressure built up and blew it out."

Scotty McCreery will be singing the goodbye song as contestants are booted off American Idol. Starting tonight, the video clips of the ousted contestant's highlights on the show will have Scotty singing Tim McGraw's "Please Remember Me."  Scotty will also perform live on the show later in the season.

Garth Brooks cried when he learned he would be inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.  Wife Trisha Yearwood said Garth received a "secret phone call" two weeks ago letting him know he would be announced as an inductee this week.  Trisha said Garth cried when he told her the news.

Trisha has some news of her own.  Her cooking show will debut on the Food Network Saturday, April 14th.  The cookbook author will do a limited series that will highlight the recipes from her two best selling cookbooks.  The format will have her cooking in her own kitchen and serving the results to family and friends who will gather.  Might even see Garth make an appearance.

Kenny Chesney has racked up his 23rd number one song with ‘Reality,’ the fourth number one single from his current album, ‘Hemingway’s Whiskey.’  Kenny says he got the idea for the song while sitting in the dentist’s chair, “I was lying in the chair, I had the mask on, you know, where they give you that funny gas, so they can work on your mouth without you feeling it, and I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I haven’t been this relaxed in a long time.’ That was my escape from reality and that’s what the song is about.”

Brad Paisley has some TV projects on the horizon.  Brad is involved with writing music for a TNT movie project starring his wife, Kimberly Williams Paisley.  And, another possible project too. In a cryptic statement, Brad said “Yeah and there is some other stuff going on you will hear about soon.” Brad will reveal in due time about projects but knows TV is not always a sure thing saying, “Yeah, if it happens, you know how TV is, you can’t always be certain.”
