The stars are getting ready for Sunday's ACM Awards live from Las Vegas.  Watch it on CBS starting at 7pm. Reba will be hosting with Blake Shelton.

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will sing a duet on Sunday's 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (4/1). Also announced this week, Blake Shelton and Lionel Richie will perform "You Are" from the Tuskegee CD.  And, Toby Keith will collaborate with Las Vegas guest performers.

Now's the time to get in those last-minute votes for New Artist and Entertainer of the Year! The New Artist candidates are Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes and Scotty McCreery, and that ballot closes Sunday (4/1) at 5pm ET. The Entertainer nominees are Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift, and their poll runs throughout the show. Support your favorites at VoteACM.com.

The ACM Awards aren't the only awards that will be handed out this weekend.  The Kid's Choice Awards will be given out Saturday on Nickelodeon. Taylor Swift will receive a special award from First Lady Michelle Obama.  And, Toby Keith goes up against Justin Bieber in the "favorite male singer" category.  So how does Toby feel about that?

 

 

KFDI is bringing American Idol finalist Casey James to the Wichita Ribfest on Saturday, May 19th.  The concert is part of the entertainment inside the Ribfest area on Waterman and is free with your admission of $4 to Ribfest.  Ribfest will feature six national rib vendors, live entertainment, a beer garden and a kids area on Lot D at 777 E. Waterman east of Intrust Bank Arena. 

 

 

Blake Shelton is named as “Country’s Hottest Guy” in the latest issue of People Country Magazine. Blake's reaction? “I think it’s funny,” Shelton tells PEOPLE Country, “…because there is nothing about me, if I was a girl, that I would think is sexy.” The Hot Guy issue of People Country is on sale now, and also names perennial favorites Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban on the list.  Some newcomers include KFDI Listener Appreciation Show headliner Easton Corbin and special guest  Dustin Lynch,  and American Idol finalist Casey James.

 

Kenny Chesney's 13th album now has a title and colorful cover art! 'Welcome to the Fishbowl' will be released June 19 on BNA Records. Kenny is going into the ACM Awards with more nominations than any other artist, is up for Entertainer of the Year, Song of the Year for 'You and Tequila' with Grace Potter and Album of the Year (as both artist and producer) for 'Hemingway's Whiskey,' his platinum 2010 CD, to which 'Fishbowl' is the follow-up.
