Keith Urban says he is ready to write songs about his dark days before going through rehab in 2007. He says, quote, "For some reason I've started writing recently and these things are now starting to now come into the songs. It's five and a half years later. So for whatever reason they're just coming through a little bit more now. And I want to explore some of those now." Keith is writing songs for his new album which he plans to release this year.
Get ready for a new album from Brad Paisley. He is back in the recording studio and he wants you to take a look at how exciting the process is. He released a YouTube video of all the riveting action. (insert sarcasm here.) Watch the video below:
An attorney representing some of the victims of last summer's Indiana State Fair tragedy is criticizing Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush for what he calls "a noticeable absence of compassion" because they did not break down or need any time to compose themselves when talking about the events that resulted in the deaths of seven people. The attorney (Kenneth J. Allen) said he thinks Sugarland "was at the top of the decision tree" when it came to determining whether the show should go on. Sugarland manager Allan Mayer says the lawyer is "flat-out wrong" Jennifer and Kristian gave depositions last week and are expected to face more questioning at a later date.
Carrie Underwood isn't looking forward to the hairy situation that results during the NHL playoffs. While she is supporting her husband Mike Fisher's team, the Nashville Predators, she says she isn't excited about the lack of shaving on the part of the team members during the playoffs. "I'm not looking forward to the playoff beard," Carrie tells People magazine with a laugh. "[The players] all grow out their facial hair during the playoffs ... So before they started, I told Mike, 'You need to shave close.' He always looks good with a little stubble, but it's probably going to get out of hand soon." She does have a plan to get even, however, adding, "I'm going to stop shaving, too. Just kidding!"
