Keith Urban will become a member of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday (April 21st). He couldn’t be more proud to represent the famed organization. “It’s a big moment for me,” says Keith. If you can’t be there in person to see Keith’s induction for yourself, you can catch it on GAC TV starting at 8pm on Saturday night. Keith said his wife Nicole sure knows how to keep a secret because he had no clue that his Opry induction would take place on April 21st. "I [didn’t] know anything about it. All I know is that it was a friend of my wife’s birthday on the schedule, which apparently is totally fictitious, but [laughs] that was it. It was Monica’s birthday on the 21st. So, I didn’t question it. I was just gonna go.”



Miranda Lambert and the producers of The Voice are reportedly concerned with Blake Shelton's drinking, according to the latest issue of In Touch Weekly magazine.  The article quotes an unnamed friend who says "Miranda is beginning to draw the line." Blake's management denies the allegations, but an anonymous source claims Blake sometimes shows up on The Voice set sick and hung over, "The producers recognize that Blake is a natural on TV, and they believe he's even capable of having his own sitcom," the friend tells In Touch.  "But they think he needs to tone down the partying or he could scare away the show's wholesome viewers."



LITTLE BIG TOWN are heading to NEW YORK to announce this years CMT MUSIC AWARDS on NBC’S “Today” show on MONDAY, APRIL 23rd. The group will also sit down with host HODA KOTB andtalk about the nominees, and give their predictions of the winners. Voting will begin immediately after the announcement on CMT.com, and the awards will air live from NASHVILLE on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6th on CMT and CMT.com.

 

 

 

Trace Adkins is set to host a new TV series called “GREAT AMERICAN HERO,” on GAC.  The series will follow Trace as he travels across the country and celebrates hometown heroes along the way. Those heroes are people who do extraordinary things to enrich their community, those reaching out to help others or stepping in to give a voice to those who aren’t heard, "GREAT AMERICAN HERO" will debut later this year.
