The Semifinals kick off on “The Voice” tonight (Monday, April 30) on NBC as all eight Semifinalists will each perform one song in addition to a group performance. Teams Blake and Christina unite to sing Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory. Plus Blake Shelton will do the world premier performance of his next single from the album Red River Blue. It is the track "Over" that will be the follow up to his #1 single "Drink On It."
Carrie Underwood is set for an incredibly busy week with the release of her 4th album, Blown Away, Tuesday. She will be on the Late Show With David Letterman tonight and a performance on the Live on Letterman webcast concert series streaming tonight (Monday, 4/30.) Plus watch for her to return to the American Idol stage during the results show on Thursday, May 3rd. Plus appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, May 9th; Jimmy Kimmel Live!, May 10th; Dancing with the Stars May 15th; and on the Billboard Music Awards May 20th!

Miranda Lambert Is Returning to the Kentucky Derby . Last year, MIRANDA LAMBERT had her bachelorette party at the Barnstable Brown Gala, during Kentucky Derby weekend. And even though she was caught wearing one of those silly Kentucky Derby hats, she's going back to that party again this year. No word if she's making BLAKE SHELTON tag along. Miranda won't be the only country star at the Derby. The Band Perry, Jason Aldean, Wynonna Judd, and Eddie Montgomery are also on the guest list.
Casey James, last year's American Idol runner up to Scotty McCreery, is coming to the Wichita Ribfest, presented by Today's KFDI on Saturday May 19th. Casey says being a stage performer is something he had to learn, it wasn't just a natural talent. "I was always in a club, in a restaurant, in a bar, at a private party or a church. Wherever I was, I had to be on it. I had to be performing. I had to learn these things. And I had to know that, ‘Oh, I need to do this here, and I need to do that there." American Patriot Lee Greenwood is calling on Americans to be better at facing challenges. He has put his thoughts down on paper in an inspiring new book, “Does God Still Bless the U.S.A.? A Plea for a Better America” set for publication May 14, 2012. “This is the first time I’ve put pen to paper, and I’m very proud of our work,” commented Greenwood who co-wrote his book with biblical scholar, Rita Tate. “This publication is a request for unity. It took us a year to write, and I hope that it awakens this country’s sleeping patriots.” Among those who are endorseing the book are President George W. Bush, Reba McEntire, and Chuck Norris, among others.
