The Enquirer is reporting that Jake Owen is going to be a dad. The tabloid says Jake and his wife Lacey planned the quick wedding over the Easter weekend after finding out that Lacey is pregnant. A source in the article said that Jake was overjoyed when he got the news about the baby and that he is a proper guy who felt the right thing to do was marry Lacey. The couple married at sunrise on a beach in Vero Beach Florida in front of a small group of family members and close friends. The Enquirer showed photos of the wedding showing Jake in a white shirt and khaki pants and Lacey in a full gown and veil.
We are going to barely hear a peep out of Blake Shelton over the next month. He tell us he is going to kick back and relax for a few weeks now that season two of "The Voice" is over. Blake said, quote, "I'm gonna be (home) for about a month just relaxing and celebrate a month-long celebration of winning 'The Voice' this year with Jermaine. I'm so happy for that guy. He deserves it." In case you missed it, Team Blake member Jermaine Paul won the competition last Tuesday night. Kellie Pickler got the ride of her life. She rode along with the Navy Blue Angels last week.
Kellie flew from ground level to 2,000 feet in just four seconds. Afterward Kellie Tweeted, "I just landed! It was incredible! Biggest adrenaline rush EVER!" The American Idol finalists and country artist says she is ready to do it again. Kellie will be here in Wichita in 3 weeks on June 3rd at the West Bank Music Fest, a new feature of River Fest presented by KFDI and Coleman Company.
Tim McGraw is hawking JBL headphones that HE helped design. The headphones will set you back $129.95, but Tim says these are headphones he is proud to endorse. He said, quote, "The main thing was getting the sound the way I liked it, going through prototypes and saying, 'I like the bass a little sharper here, I like the midrange a certain way.'"
The Judge in the Indiana State Fair stage rigging collapse case ordered last week that the plaintiffs attornies should not have released a portion of the deposition video tape showing Sugarland Jennifer Nettles. And, Marion Superior Court Judge Theodore Sosin denied the attorney’s request to release the written transcripts of Nettles’ and bandmate Kristian Bush’s deposition. Next week the Judge will make a ruling on exactly what attorneys in the suits will be allowed to share publicly. A trial date is expected to be set as well.
Carrie Underwood did a sit down interview Friday night with Jimmy Kimmel Live. She said she is watching American Idol but isn't revealing who she is hoping will win. She also talked about being in Country music and being a Vegan. Carries admits laughingly that people in her home town try to feed her meat and tell her she looks sick. Then the discussion turned to Carrie's string of girl getting revenge songs. She teamed with Jimmy on a spoof of her hit "Before He Cheats" called " Before You Freak." The Video is below:
Toby Keith will kick off his 9th Annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic kicks off in the most remarkable and rewarding way yet on May 18 when he breaks ground on the OK Kids Korral in Oklahoma City. The home-away-from-home for sick children and their families has been the ultimate goal of the Toby Keith Foundation and its annual event.
