  • Print

Jason Aldean had a little run in with the law yesterday. Apparently Jason was swimming in the ocean early Tuesday during the time that double red flags had been posted, meaning swimming was not allowed. Jason Tweeted, "Dear officer who gave me a ticket on the beach today for swimming in the water with double red flags.. Thanx for the warning Barney Fife!" Jason also tweeted. "I know he was doin his job, but im pretty sure i wouldnt drown in knee deep water. Gimme a break!" The cop decided to not only pick on Jason, but a young boy as well. The two ended up with a $100 ticket each. Jason admits the guy was doing his job but took it too far. There were other people swimming as well but they didn’t get a ticket.

Tim McGraw is apparently trying to fatten up tourmate Kenny Chesney.  The "Brothers Of The Sun" pair are actually acting a little like brothers on the road. Kenny told CMT's Lon Helton, "Tim knows I’ve been trying to lean my body down so I can fit in the jeans I wear onstage. I think he’s figured out that on Sunday, I’ll eat whatever I want. So, to test my will power he’ll send me a dessert every day … He sent me a whole red velvet cake one day, and he knows I love red velvet cake. I think he’s trying to do anything he can so he’ll be skinnier than me.”

Last week at the 2012 CMA Music Festival, Brad Paisley was surprised with the CMA International Artist Achievement Award. “Brad is an outstanding ambassador for Country Music around the globe,” said CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore.  The CMA International Artist Achievement Award recognizes outstanding achievement by a U.S.-based artist who contributes to the awareness and development of Country Music outside the United States. Since 2000, Paisley has performed in Canada, Europe, and Japan.
