If you're a Jake Owen fan, you have to make sure you follow him on Twitter. He's been giving followers fun tweet. One fan Tweeted, "Why does the @jakeowen concert have to be sold out. I wanted to go." Jake saw the post and took care of them, tweeting, "You and three friends are coming. I got ya covered." Then in the middle of the show Jake threw out an offer to see who was paying attention. He Tweeted, quote, "I've got four side stage chairs for relaxation during my show tonight for [the] first person to charge stage now and do jumping jacks." Four women stormed the stage. Jake followed with the Tweet, "I don't know what I just laughed harder at. The four chicks doing jumping jacks on stage or the people in the crowd thinking 'what the [heck] is going on?'"

Eric Church says being fired as the opening act for Rascal Flatts a few years ago may have been the best thing that could have happened to his career. After his debut album, Carolina, he got an opening spot on Rascal Flatts' tour. Eric recalls that he didn't follow the rules of an opening act. He stayed on the stage longer than his allotted slot a few times and got fired from the tour. He says he "ended up banished to the wilderness. I mean, nobody would touch us. We were nuclear for awhile." During that time, Eric kept playing shows in smaller clubs. And, that helped him find himself as an artist. Eric believes all of his current success may not have happened if he hadn't made that connection with the fans playing those club shows. He says, "The best thing that happened to us was falling off of everybody's radar."
