Carrie Underwood says she refuses to read the reactions in the media about her comments last week in favor of same sex marriage. Carrie was quoted by a British newspaper as saying she believes everyone should have the right to marry the person they love and it wasn't her job to judge people. Carrie explained that she was asked the question in the last five minutes of an interview and answered it the best way she knew how. Carrie told The Associated Press that being a role-model is "scary because no matter what happens in your life, something you do, wear, say, sing, whatever - somebody somewhere is probably not going to like it too well,"

Congratulations to Wynonna Judd, the new Mrs.Cactus Moser! The pair tied the knot June 10 on the Wynonna's Leiper's Fork, Tenn. farm, just south of Nashville. "I felt a joy that hasn't been there before," the bride told the magazine. Wynonna says she walked down the aisle barefoot while her chidlren, Grace (16) and Elijah (17), looked on. Wynonna's mother, Naomi Judd, and sister, actress Ashley Judd, were not in attendance.

Though fans might love the idea of having two seasons of the hit The Voice in one year, Blake Shelton is fighting to keep that from happening. He and buddy Adam Levine are doing everything in their power to revert the show back to its once-a-year ways. “I’m hoping that we can gripe and whine around about it enough so that they won’t do that after this year and they’ll just keep it one season a year,” Blake told CMT Radio. Blake and Adam are both in the middle of touring and recording new music. Blake’s working on two new albums (one’s a Christmas album!) “The Voice is fun, but still at heart I’m a touring, recording, inbred, hillbilly country artist,” Blake joked. “That’s what I want to do.”

Tracy Lawrence will wrap up acting in his first feature film next week when filming ends on the new movie "L.A. Dirt" in Mobile, Alabama. L.A. Dirt is the story about a young man’s dream to become a champion dirt track racer. Tracy will play a supporting role as the uncle to the young man, played by Michael Roark, of Dolphin Tale). Tracy describes the film as a combination of the action of Days of Thunder, the romance of Urban Cowboy, and the feel-good of Rocky rolled into a PG family feature. No release date announced.
