A fan got escorted out of the Kenny Chesney - Tim McGraw Brothers of the Sun concert in Nashville this past weekend because he looked way too much like Kenny. Nathan Blankenship looks so much like Kenny that everyone was asking to have their picture taken with him to try to fool family and friends into thinking they had met the man himself. Saturday night, Blankenship said a security officer approached and asked to see his ticket. "Next thing I know he grabs my ticket. He says, ‘Here, can I have your ticket?’ I said here, here’s my ticket and I just thought he was going to lead me back to my seat, which I would have been fine with, but he grabs me by the arm and starts pulling me up the walkway to the very top," Blankenship recalled. "I can’t help with the way I look." Nathan was escorted out of the concert, and missed seeing Kenny perform all together. Nathan said he was done with Kenny Chesney concerts and his music.

Martina McBride has signed on as a "talent scout" for the reality show "Opening Act". That's the show where celebrities give brand new artists a break by having them open for big name acts like Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Jason Mraz, Nicki Minaj and Rod Stewart. It premieres July 9th on E!

 

By now you know that Wynonna Judd is a married woman again. And, that Wynonna's mom Naomi and sister Ashley were not at her wedding to Cactus Moser. Now we found out why. Wynonna says the official reason they weren't there is because they were NOT INVITED. And they weren't invited because she didn't want them bothering her. Wynonna told "Us Weekly", quote, "If I know Ashley, she would have re-positioned my dress, or Mom would have given me a Kleenex to stuff in my bra, or told me, I have something in my teeth. I just didn't want that. I just wanted to get married!" Wynonna added, "We're getting ready to sit down with our life coach and re-evaluate what we want out of this relationship."

Trace Adkins is headed to this summer's Republican National Convention. Politico.com says Trace is slated to perform at Liberty Plaza in Tampa, Florida on August 28th in conjunction with the political gathering. Ronnie Dunn might be added to the event's lineup. The Republican National Convention officially runs from August 27th through the 30th.

Blake Shelton is back to work on the third season of The Voice, which will premiere this fall. Seems like they just wrapped the second season (they did last month.) Blake admits that while he loves doing the show, "Something’s gotta give at some point. But we are gonna do this fall." Blake is reported by sources to be making six million bucks per season. The new season of The Voice will premiere on September 10th on NBC.
