Watch It: Keith Urban's Message To You

  • Print

Keith Urban has been hard at work “Down Under” filming the Australian version of the hit show “The Voice.” While Keith has enjoyed his time on the show he’s ready to get back to the states to do what he does best – make music. In fact, Urban says he’s ”chomping at the bit to get back into writing and recording mode.” He talked about his new album in a special video to fans.  Check out Keith’s special message to fans below…

Kenny Chesney‘s new album, Welcome to the Fishbowl, sold nearly 200,000 copies in it's first week and that big number pushed the collection to the number-one spot on the country albums chart and #2 on the all-genre chart. It's Kenny's 11th consecutive album to debut at the top of the country chart! Kenny says his new album not only has a different kind of sound, it’s also the most emotional album he’s ever made.

Good News. Kenny Chesney's people decided to take care of Nathan Blankenship . . . the dude who got booted from the Brothers of the Sun concert last Saturday because he looked too much like Kenny. He got an apology, a refund on his ticket plus a gift basket.

Jake Owen is a newlywed and so far it's going well. Since he hit the road as the opener on Kenny/Tim tour shortly after getting married, Jake's new wife Lacey is on the road with him. So far, that is working out just fine. Jake says it is keeping him out of trouble, “Yeah, it’s a lot different, you know, havin’ your wife on the bus now as opposed to you and, like, nine other guys. We were just (laughs) always gettin’ into trouble, you know, but she’s good. She keeps me in line. Like all women do, I guess.” Jake will be at the Kansas State Fair with Billy Currington on September 15th.

Tim McGraw says he had to walk away from an offer to be on Broadway. Tim says he was offered a role in a Broadway musical because the role just wasn't right for him. Tim reveals that he is looking for his next starring role to show off his "darker side." But it's difficult to find time to appear in films, even if he is drawn to the character. "The hardest thing is timing," explains the singer-songwriter. "You can read 50 scripts and not find anything that you like. It's much like finding songs. You could listen to thousands of songs and find those magic things. For me, it all has to start with a script. And if that's not right, then nothing's right."

If the rumors are true, Tim may have even less time for a movie or Broadway role. Sources in Las Vegas say Tim will join Faith Hill for a series of shows at a Vegas hotel. No details released by the couple yet.
