Randy Travis' Story Gets Even More Weird. Read What He Did Earlier In The Evening

  • Print

Randy Travis was arrested after troopers found him naked and allegedly intoxicated at the scene of a car crash in Grayson County Texas, near his home. Randy was booked into jail but later bailed out, walking out of the jail barefoot wearing scrubs and a ball cap. He had a bruised face and a black eye. The Sheriff's report on the incident says Randy Travis made threats at the time of his arrest that that he would "shoot and kill the troopers working the case." A representative for Travis said there would be no immediate comment on the arrest.

The Randy Travis story just keeps getting weirder and weirder. This is from a Texas TV station, KTEN.....

Randy Travis' adventures began earlier in the evening Tuesday when he went to a Tiger Mart store in Pilot Point and entered naked demanding the clerk give him cigarettes but he had no money to pay. "A customer walked in, he was butt (buck) naked and demanded cigarettes. He was asking for Marlboro Light and some other kind of cigarettes," a store employee explained. As funny as all the naked stuff is, this is really serious. According to the video, the DWI is a first time offense which makes it a Class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 6 months in jail while the retaliation charge could be a third degree felony and punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Let's hope this turns out to be rock bottom for Randy and he gets his life straightened out.
