If you don't pay enough attention to Eric Church at one of his concerts, he just may scream at you from the stage. Eric HATES it when audience members aren't giving him as much as he thinks they should. He says, quote, "I'll focus on a couple people in the crowd that I think have a whole lot more left to give and I'll look directly at 'em and scream at 'em and yell at 'em. I love that . . . it's a little bit like boxing. I antagonize the crowd. I do." And sometimes those fans scream back. Eric says he has been doing the screaming at fans thing since the clubs and bar days when people didn't listen to him.
Jake Owen is grooving on his wife's baby bump. He says he thinks her pregnant belly is beautiful. When he was asked how Lacey was adjusting to being pregnant Jake says his former lingerie model wife is loving it too. He said, quote, "She looks great. She's just happy and smiley. There's something beautiful about a woman that's pregnant." (--She's due in November.)
Willie Nelson woke up Saturday and was having trouble breathing so he went to the hospital. Trouble was, he had a concert audience waiting on him and they didn't know why he wasn't showing up. Finally, the promoter came on stage to say that the legend wouldn't be appearing and Willie's appearance at the Denver Dumb Friends League in Colorado was cancelled. Curiously, there's been not a peep out of Willie's camp on what is going on with the singer.
