The Kix Brooks show scheduled at The Cotillion on Friday, September 7 has been canceled.
Richard Leslie, Cotillion owner, sent out an email saying they are in the process of trying to reschedule the show for a later date. For now, though, if you have tickets you can get a full refund. Just take the tickets back to where you bought them.
An A-list cast of celebrities and a couple of country superstars are joining a telethon to raise money and awareness to fight cancer. The third Stand Up to Cancer telethon will air the Friday after Labor Day on the four major networks, ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, and more than a dozen cable channels. Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift will perform during the telethon. They join more than 25 other music, movie, TV and sports stars
Tim McGraw is also going to appear on the MDA Telethon, now called The Show Of Strength. Tim, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan are all lending their time and talents to the MDA Labor Day event Sunday, September 2nd. Jerry Lewis is no longer hosting the event, by the way.
Reports that Taylor Swift bought a house near the Kennedy Compound may not be true. A realtor says reports that Taylor paid $4.9 million for a house near Ethel Kennedy are untrue. Radar Online says the house is actually being sold to a New York hedge fund manager. Their source is the real estate agent who says he is the one who brokered the deal. Glad to hear this. The whole buyinig a house near your boyfriend's grandmother was starting to sound like Taylor was stalking the Kennedy family.
Oh, and more on the "is Taylor stalking the Kennedy's" question. Kathie Lee Gifford said on The Today Show that she was at the Kennedy wedding over the weekend that Taylor allegedly crashed. Kathie Lee said it happened just like Vicki Kennedy, the mother of the bride, reported to the Boston Herald. Kathie Lee attended the wedding, she is the bride's step-grandmother, and she said she witnessed the incident. Indeed, she says, Taylor and Conor were asked to leave but refused.
