Scotty McCreery will be listed in the "2013 Guinness Book of World Records".
It was confirmed by the folks at Guinness that Scotty McCreery made it into the new Guinness World Records 2013 as the youngest male to enter the U.S. albums charts at #1." The event actually happened a year ago when Scotty's album "Clear As Day" debuted at #1 in October of 2011, when he was 17.
Little Big Town's album "Tornado" marks the vocal group's fifth release. It contains their first ever #1 song, "Pontoon." Kix worked with Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus to co-produce the title track on his first album as a solo artist, "New To This Town," which features guest artist Joe Walsh. And, Bucky Covington supports firefighters with his new collection titled "Good Guys." The first-week sales of Bucky's album benefits the International Association of Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation. Bucky will also perform "God Bless The U.S.A." with the FDNY Pipes and Drums band at dusk Sept. 11 and join a procession to FDNY Engine 10/Ladder 10 in New York City.

Jason Aldean has inked a partnership deal with Coors Brewing. His role as the new Coors’ partner will officially kick off Oct. 16, with the launch of his latest album “Night Train.” Jason says he is working with Coors Light because he is a huge fan of the brew. “It’s been my favorite beer for a long time,” said Jason, who added that he may have been personally responsible for Coors’s stock price going up the past few years. You should start to see images of Jason Aldean pop up next to Coors products in stores nationwide and Jason is expected to shoot a couple of TV commercials in the near future.
Dierks Bentley says he is going to stick to light beer from now on. Dierks told Country Weekly magazine that time has caught up with him and he just can't keep up with his former touring self. "When you have 10 or 11 Jager Bombs during your show, it's probably not going to end gracefully," Dierks says, “The smart thing is for me to stick to light beer."
Jason Aldean's upcoming CD “Night Train” has made Entertainment Weekly's list of the "12 Albums We Can't Wait to Hear." Jason says he is excited for fans to hear a song on the CD called "Wheels Rollin'," featuring a strong aggressive lead guitar reminiscent of his guitar hero, Slash. "A lot of people call it sloppy playing. I just call it cool." Jason says. It comes out October 16.
Josh Thompson was rudely awakened and tossed out of his bunk when his bus hit a guardrail Sunday (Sept. 9), while traveling to a concert in Arkansas. Josh tweeted, "Was involved in a small bus accident this morning, everyone's ok and we're on a new not so broken bus headed to Little Rock." He told the website Taste Of Country, "It was a close call, but thank God nobody was hurt, and we made it to the show on time. Hopefully we can check this off the list forever."
