There aren't many professional singers who can hold their own with MARTINA MCBRIDE. So how awesome was it when Martina let a 13-year-old join her on stage for a song . . . and the girl totally nailed it. Her name is Kate Falcon and she was at Martina's show last Friday in Nashville. Martina invited her up to the stage and they did Martina's song "Anyway". They trade verses early on and then Martina was so impressed she turned it over to the girl and actually took a seat. You will hear some familiar songs if you tune into the debut of ABC's new night time soap opera Nashville this Wednesday night. Eli Young Band's "Even if It Breaks Your Heart," Justin Moore's "Small Town USA," and "Did It for the Girl" by Greg Bates have already been licensed to be featured on "Nashville", according to Billboard.com. And, anytime the characters on the show (Hayden Panettiere or Connie Britton) sing on Nashville you will be able to download that song although plans for a full soundtrack album will be decided based on the show's initial ratings.
This Wednesday, October 10th, Little Big Town will entertain the crowd at a private party as NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Kasey Kahne unveils his new Spring Cup Car, The Time Warner Cable Chevrolet. And, get this.....Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes will also be unveiling a to scale replica cake of the car. Hmmmm....what will they eat first? The hood or the trunk? I want the driver's side window!
