Brad Paisley Takes Man's Prized Possession

  • Print

Brad Paisley granted a dying man's wish by taking one of his prized possessions home with him.

Lee Feldman has terminal pancreatic cancer, and he wanted to leave his custom-made guitar to someone who would, as he puts it, "play the frets off it." That would be Brad Paisley, alright. After a few phone calls by friends, Brad was waiting to meet Lee and accept the guitar at a Lancaster County PA concert this past weekend. "He told me that his grandfather had died from pancreatic cancer," Lee said. "And that his grandfather was the one who taught him how to play guitar in the first place." Feldman said Brad told him he plans to use the guitar in a song on his next album.

Leann Rimes ended up in the ER early Sunday morning suffering from "dental issues." And, in true Leann style, we learned details on her Twitter page. The singer went into some detail, tweeting that she was "under anesthesia" and had "a massive infection." In that tweet, she said, "I feel like I got hit in my right side of my face with a baseball bat :( In a blog on her website, Leann said she had been "living in a dental nightmare for 10 months."

Reba McEntire may have been a little bit of the inspiration for one of the characters on the new ABC nighttime soap Nahsville. Reba says she sat down with "Nashville" star Connie Britton and told her what life is like in the country music industry. Reba is even hinting that she might make a guest appearance on that show. Reba's new sitcom, Malibu Country, and Nashville are both on ABC TV. Reba says she wouldn't want to join the cast of "Nashville" because it is a little too close to her real life, and she'd rather "play an imaginary character having fun in Malibu." The ABC Drama ‘Nashville’ premieres this Wednesday October 10th.

Previously announced are Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and Zac Brown Band. The CMA Awards will be handed out November 1st. Anytime I can listen to Keith Urban talk, I do. So, I am posting this new video of Keith chatting with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest at the auditions in Baton Rouge, LA.
