What in the world are Twitter followers of Gary LeVox from Rascal Flatts' really following? While Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney are very active on their Twitter accounts, Gary has more than 43,000 followers on Twitter but hasn't sent out a single tweet yet. Gary told the Chicago Tribune with a laugh, "I just got a pager last week. I'm so far behind the times." Guess you don't need Tweets to get a top 15 song on the charts. That's where "Come Wake Me Up" is this week. Check out Gary's empty Twitter account at https://twitter.com/GaryLevox.Sugarland is officially off the road and Jennifer Nettles has gone home to await the birth of her first child. A funny observation from partner Kristian Bush. He said that, though Jennifer's pregnancy didn't affect her voice during the shows, it did make her chest quite a bit bigger. "She always does that little shimmy move to me at the end of songs. At some point, you know, I always look her in the eyes. At some point I look down because it's like this giant like, flopping back and forth. I was like, "Oh my gosh!" She looked at me like, 'Gotcha! Look what I got now.'" Kristian said with a laugh. Kristian admits that freaked him out a little bit saying, "I was like, 'Oh my gosh! You can't do that to me. I'm your brother!'"
Lee Brice says Hank Jr. keeps more than brooms in his broom closet! Lee says he was invited on Hank's bus after a show they did togther recently. Lee says, "I walked on the bus," says Lee, "and I had a little bottle of whiskey in my hand, and it was about empty. And Hank said in front of all the people, ‘Hey boy, let me show you something.’ And he brought me back to his ‘broom closet,’ he called it. But he said, ‘There’s more than brooms in this closet.’" Lee calls that meeting the night of his life. "I hung out with Hank Jr. all night, playing him songs on his Bocephus guitar, smoking cigars, and talking about the Civil War." Lee Brice is Top 5 with his single "Hard To Love," the title track of his latest album.
