Jason Aldean will be coming back to Wichita next year, some time between February 21st and the end of May. He announced he will kick off the first leg of his 2013 Night Train Tour in Bossier City, LA on Feb. 21st and roll on to 23 cities through May, ending in Wichita. We do not have an exact date or an on sale date. Jason is also scheduled to play Friday, June 28th at Country Stampede in Manhattan KS and those tickets are on sale now.
Reba has another hit on her hands. She debuted her new sitcom, “Malibu Country,” Friday (11/2) on ABC and it had the highest ratings for the night and gave the network its highest ratings for a Friday night time slot for the first time in five years. The show features Reba as Reba Gallagher, a wife and mother whose world is turned upside-down when she discovers that her country music legend husband has a cheatin’ heart. Tune in Friday on ABC at 8:30 p.m. to catch the next episode.
Who has raised more than a million dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, delivered medical supplies to Sudan, searched for missing people in Haiti and mentored Special Olympics athletes? Those are just some of many charitable initiatives taken on by Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich during their break from performing as Big & Rich. The country duo is now being honored for those efforts by recieving the Country Radio 2013 Artist Humanitarian Award.
Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley is considering elective eye surgery after watching a replay of his performance on the CMA's last Thursday. Charles tweeted, "I did the squint eye about 3 times like honey boo boo's mom. time for eye surgery." Charles will have time to schedule the surgery around the holidays after Lady Antebellum plays a Christmas show in Nashville on December 3. That concert will feature selections from their new seasonal album, On This Winter's Night, in stores now. Look for a Lady A concert special on GAC December 5 at 7 p.m.
