Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 16th at 10am for the Rascal Flatts "Changed" tour concert at Intrust Bank Arena on Saturday, January 19th. Buy tickets at the box office or through Select A Seat. Kenny Chesney is coming back to Kansas City for a concert in June, 2013. His "No Shoes Nation" tour will travel to a total of 50 cities, including 17 stadiums. Tickets for the Kansas City June 15th concert will go on sale December 7th, with pre-sales for Jackson County residents, KC Chiefs' season ticket holders and KFDI VIP Club members in the days ahead of the general public on sale date. Eric Church and Eli Young Band will be the openers.
'Tis the season for Martina McBride. Martina will be a part of the new A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary compilation album that benefits the Special Olympics. She sings "Please Come Home For Christmas" on the new cd. "The Christmas season is by far the McBride family's favorite time of the year," says the angelic-voiced mom of three. "Holiday music is some of my most favorite to sing and it reminds me of the memories I have growing up that I've shared with my daughters." The compilation album also features Rascal Flatts on "Mary, Did You Know?" and Vince Gill's "Breath of Heaven (Mary's Song)."
A great part about living in Nashville for Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere is making friends with the locals, including Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, Kelly Clarkson and Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift. Hayden says she recently went to a songwriting session but left her guitar in her trailer so texted a friend that she needed to borrow a guitar. She told Jimmy Kimmel, "Taylor Swift came through for me. Two of her security guards brought down this guitar ... I had to fill out a form. It was very intense."
Wynonna Judd says Aug. 18, 2012 was one of the worst days of her life. That was the day her husband, musician Cactus Moser, had a motorcycle accident which resulted in the amputation of one of his legs. Wynonna says since the accident, she has hung up her rhinestones and put on her wife, nurse, cook, driver hats. She admits that her life used to revolve around her needs, now she is totally focused on on her husband, "It's real down in the trenches hardcore stuff" that has taught her a lesson. But it doesn't mean Wynonna is done touring. She and Cactus will be back on the road starting November 26th with their Christmas Tour.
