Blake Shelton says he and Miranda are so proud of their Song Of The Year CMA for "Over You" that they plan to give it a special place in the house. He says, “We’ve got some shelves that we put stuff on, but I guarantee you this we are proud of every single one of these things, [but] that Song of the Year award, it’ll have its own shelf. It’ll have like spotlights on it and an alarm and everything … trip wires, a landmine if you walk toward it, all that stuff. Keith Urban is impressing his fellow judges on American Idol with both his looks and how he treats his wife, Nicole Kidman. In particular, Nicki Minaj. She told Yahoo that Keith has been a very calming person to he around and adds, “He’s very handsome and he’s very sweet and he is very respectful of his wife,” We will get to see all that calmness starting January 16th when the new season of Idol debuts on FOX.
Once is not enough for the CMA Country Christmas special. It will air on three different dates on ABC, starting with Thursday, December 20th at 8pm. Then it repeats on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 8pm and Sunday, Dec. 23 at 3pm. Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland hosted the tapings. No doubt she will be home rocking her new baby by the time the shows air. She is due this month.
LeAnn Rimes may be the replacement for Sharon Osborne on 'America's Got Talent'. That would mean most off the major TV Talent shows will have a judge from the country music arena. Only X Factor would be countryless. And, of course we know Simon Cowell doesn't like country music.
Will Taylor Swift spill any secrets about who some of those famous songs are about during tonight's "VH1 Storytellers" special? No, is the short answer. She taped the show in front of a group of students from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, Calif.. The school won an online contest. Taylor will open up to the audience about where she got inspiration for songs on her new album, Red. When she sang "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" Taylor told the audience, " The song that I wrote was about this relationship that I had that was the worst thing ever and the best thing ever at the same time."
Taylor Swift has teamed up with a photographer for a book about a day in her life but you can only get it if you by a Sony camera. It will be called "8 Hours/Taylor Swift" and will be available exclusively at Sony stores, starting on November 12, with the purchase of a Sony camera.
