Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell are now expecting a child. "Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY!" she wrote on Twitter Friday. "We feel so blessed!!!" On their website, the band announced they are cancelling the summer leg of their 2013 tour.  That would include Country Stampede in Manhattan on Saturday, June 29th.

Eric Church is about to take some time off. First up is the Christmas holiday, which he’ll spend with his family in North Carolina. "We’re going back to North Carolina for a week or so, spend some time with my family. Then we’re gonna try to get away as just a family, just the three of us and try and go have some time after that. Then we have a little bit of time, we have the rest of the month of January before we do a Canadian tour, which I’m excited. I think all those shows are gonna be sold out, it looks like most of them are and to be able to go to another country and have that happen, is just really a special thing for me. So, I’m looking forward to that. It’s gonna be cold. It’s gonna be February in Canada. I get it. It’s gonna be snowy, but we’re gonna go do that. And after that, it’s just [Kenny] Chesney and the rest of the year is off."

Blake Shelton spent last Christmas in a hospital room and he wouldn't change it for anything. "It ended up being dad and I on Christmas Eve, sitting in his hospital room and watching Dumbest Stuff on Wheels for about four hours on his little TV there in the room. I wouldn’t trade that night for anything," revealed Blake to Country Weekly.Blake’s father Dick was ill in the hospital and Blake couldn’t bring himself to leave his father alone on the holiday even if it meant breaking other family traditions. Blake’s father passed away that January and he’s thankful he didn’t miss his last Christmas.

Country's hottest couple are both nominated for Grammy Awards. Miranda Lambert earned a nod for Best Country Album, for Four the Record, and Blake Shelton is up for Best Country Solo Performance with "Over." Speaking of her nod, Miranda says, "My albums are my heart and soul. To know that the music I make is appreciated means the world to me and a Grammy nomination is a giant hug that never ends. Thanks so much. What an honor!" Blake was "completely shocked" and "honored" to get his Grammy nod for "Over." "It's one of the most challenging vocals of my career!" Blake says. "Thank you so much." The Grammy Awards will be handed out live on CBS February 10 in Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton lead the country nominees for the Peoples Choice Awards. Jason Aldean is up for Favorite Country Artist, along with Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton. Both Taylor and Carrie vie for Favorite Female Artist, with Taylor picking up a song nomination for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and Carrie getting an album nomination for Blown Away. Blake is in the running for Favorite Male Artist, alongside Chris Brown, Jason Mraz, Justin Bieber and Usher. The Voice is up for Favorite Competition TV Show as well. You can vote for your favorites online through next Friday, December 14th. The People's Choice Awards airs Wednesday January 9 at 9 p.m. Eastern on CBS.

Keith Urban and wife Nicole could both have Oscars in 2013.
