Recently Jason Aldean said he was interested in pursuing an acting career in the future. What he failed to also say is that he had already spent some time in front of the camera doing a role in his first feature film!
The 35-year-old will appear in the upcoming western, "Sweetwater," which stars Ed Harris and January Jones. The flick will debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January and is described by ABC News Radio as "an intense but humorous film." "I like the challenge of doing something I'm not really used to doing, because you start to get complacent sometimes when you're the playing same thing over and over and over," Jason tells The Boot.
Taylor Swift has been named the No. 1 “celeb gone good” for 2012 on DoSomething.org’s most charitable stars of the year list. The two main things that stood out for Taylor’s charitable givings this year was donating a whopping $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame museum and she was also the youngest person to receive the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for her charitable efforts. Miley Cyrus, Channing Tatum, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber round out the Top 5 Most Charitable Celeb’s for 2012.
Miranda Lambert is set to appear as a guest judge on the next season of Lifetime TV's "Project Runway." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miranda will join Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, Joan & Melissa Rivers and others as judges for the 11th season of the hit tv show. The new season starts January 24th but there's no indication on when Miranda will be featured.
We are going to have to wait to find out if Carrie Underwood or Jason Aldean have the "World's Best Song" of 2012. The 2012 World Music Awards have been postponed due to imigration and logistic issues. The awards were suppose to be handed out Saturday night, Dec. 22nd in Miami, FL. The group's Facebook page says the awards were forced to be delayed because of the issues. Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood were all nominated for World's Best Song. See the list of nominations below. The nominees are chosen by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry to honor the top-selling artists around the globe.
