Blake Shelton has had time to record a new studio album, even though he thought he might not be able to pay as much attention to his music career because of his television career on The Voice. But Blake actually thinks his VOICE duties may have helped him make a better album. "Not having as much time on the road to listen to songs over and over again, and completely overthink them -- which I've been guilty of in the past -- has helped." Blake tells Country Aircheck. "If I love a song in the first two or three times, I just cut the damn thing." Blake says.
Garth Brooks is reportedly searching for songs for a tour in the fall of 2014. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Garth will launch the trek just a few months after his youngest daughter graduates high school in May 2014. Garth wrapped up his one-man show at the Wynn Las Vegas in November, but he is reportedly returning to the resort for a special performance soon. The Las Vegas Review-Journal also reports that Garth is keeping the private jet Steve Wynn provided to shuttle him back and forth from Oklahoma to Las Vegas for the concerts.
The Band Perry, will release their sophomore album on April 2. The name of the album hasn't been released but the first single has, with “Better Dig Two.” In a mere two months, the Top 10-and-climbing tune has become their fastest-rising single to date and has already sold over 650,000 downloads. The band just launched a brand new site website, www.thefansperry.com, created for and dedicated to their fans.
