Jason Aldean thinks maybe people have underestimated the popularity of country music in New York. The proof? Jason sold out a concert at Madison Square Garden in just minutes Friday.
"I think people underestimate country music's popularity in New York City," said Aldean. "The Garden is one of those places every artist dreams of playing. I am blown away that my show sold out that quickly...it makes me even more excited to hit rehearsals this month and get the Night Train tour on the road.!" The 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR kicks off Feb. 21. It will be coming to Country Stampede on Friday night, June 27th. Tickets for the open air concert are on sale now at www.countrystampede.com.
By the way, Jason has also received PLATINUM certification for his recent No. one single "Take A Little Ride." The first single off of NIGHT TRAIN.
Looks like Luke Bryan's Dirt Road Diaries tour is going to be a monster too. Tickets went on sale for the first leg and sold out in minutes. “I feel like I have waited a lifetime to take my own show on the road,” said Bryan. “The band and I have a lot of exciting things in store for the fans and are eager to get it started!” Luke will bring the show to Wichita on September 12th but tickets are not on sale yet for that show.
Miranda says she plays "the bad guy" sometimes when it comes to Blake and his fans. In the latest issue of Redbook, Miranda says "…he’s the sweetest guy. Like he will talk to anyone, sign anything, take a picture with everyone…if I don’t stop it, ti ruins our whole night…”
Blake Shelton is showing off his "good guy" status. He has said he wants to make sure that his biggest fans get first shot at tickets to the "Ten Times Crazier" tour coming to Wichita October 5th. Taylor Swift is finding that not everyone supports her "kiss and tell" songwriting style. In a pretty raw interview, Michael J. Fox mentioned Taylor by name saying, “I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career.” Tina Fey mentioned the comment at The Golden Globes, warning Taylor not to try dating Michael's son. Well, it seems the two have burried the hatchet. Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back, Taylor tweeted.
Carrie Underwood says she and Taylor Swift aren't good friends. In her Allure magazine interview, Carrie admitted that she's never really around Taylor. "I'm not close to her...we run into each other at events. We're never in the same place at the same time," she said.
Toby Keith may be dealing with some “Security Issues” according to his website. When you click on the meet & greet section at www.tobykeith.com : (Link below in Red) (http://www.tobykeith.com/help/faqAnswer.php?faqID=30&catID=13) you get the following message: “Due to current security concerns, ALL personal meet and greet requests for friends, family, and Fan Club members have been discontinued. Thank you for your understanding.” Insider information says that Toby has a stalker who's gone over the line. But emails to his management have not been answered so we don't have any details.
