Blake's Head Called Too Big For A Hat By Country Legend

  • Print

Blake Shelton apologized for angering country legend Ray Price when he said during an episode of GAC’s “Backstory” that as 'Male Vocalist of the Year’ he is one of those people to decide if country music moves forward and if it moves on. "Nobody wants to listen to their grandpa’s music," he said in the interview. Ray Price released a statement about Blake's comments, saying, “Stupidity Reigns Supreme!" and predicted that Blake's music won't be remembered in 2075. Blake apologized to Mr. Price, calling him a "hero" but also said, "I meant every word I said. Country music is my life and it’s future AND past is important to me." Miranda Lambert admits that she will always be a Boots and Jeans girl but she still loves to dress up sometimes. The 11th season of "Project Runway" is underway.

Tim McGraw revealing to CMT TV that he turned down a role on Broadway. Tim does say he is actively looking for an acting role, but would prefer something on "the darker side." Tim will release his latest album, ‘Two Lanes of Freedom’ on February 5th.

Oh, boy. More trouble forMindy McCready. It's being reported that police are not convinced it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound that took the life of her boyfriend, David Wilson. Sheriff Marty Moss says, "This is a very high-profile case and we need to make sure it's investigated as thoroughly as possible. It could take weeks for the state crime lab to complete tests" Sheriff Moss also pointed out that it was Mindy McCready's spokesperson -- not anyone involved in the investigation -- who made the determination that Mr. Wilson's death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound," The story appears in the National Enquirer.
