Dierks Bentley says he might pull a "Kanye" at the Grammy Awards. He is nominated for his song Home. "Let's look at the stats. I've been nominated for 12 (awards), okay? So, I'm pretty used to clapping for somebody else and the camera's right there. I got that down pretty good," Dierks laments. He says he might run up on the stage even if he doesn't win.
The tour bus of Thompson Square was broadsided by a car as they were returning home from a show in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Monday morning (Jan. 28.) they were only 20 minutes from home. Right after the crash, the duo tweeted, “A woman just didnt (sic) see us early this morning and hit us as we crossed the highway.” But that tweet has since been removed and another went up that read “It was pretty foggy.”
This is sweet. The members of Lady Antebellum are trying to figure out how to record the heartbeat of Hillary Scott's unborn baby. Hillary says she was able to capture the baby's strong heartbeat on her phone at a doctor's appointment. That led to the idea, "Charles goes, “We have to do something with that!” Hillary says they have a song for the new album about the love between a parent and child. Charles had an idea, “that would be such a cool way to start that song.” There is a challenge, "We’ve just got to figure out some way to capture it in high quality, because the little thing they use at the doctor and recording it on my phone wasn’t exactly great quality.
Tim McGraw is set to release his highly anticipated Big Machine Records debut, Two Lanes of Freedom, on Feb. 5th with some pre-release performances this weekend. Tim will be in New Orleans and fans can catch him on Austin City Limits (Feb. 2) and CBS Sunday Morning (Feb. 3). He heads to the West Coast for The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Feb. 5) and a special live stream aboard the USS Midway in San Diego at 7:30 p.m. ET. He will guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Feb. 6) and Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Feb. 7.)
Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert have set the date! Jana admits they had only a couple of choices. "We had, like, two weekends that we were able to do it this year," the bride-to-be admits, adding, "We have planned it, but we're not going to tell anybody." The two singers, both ACM New Artist nominees, got engaged earlier this month.
