Mindy McCready has addressed suspicions that she killed her boyfriend, David Wilson, the father to McCready's youngest son. Wilson was found shot to death in the couple's home and it was first reported that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Jan. 13. The police say they have not classified the death as suicide and are running forensic tests. Mindy called it a "witch hunt." (Watch the interview below.) NBC reporter Andrea Canning asked her point blank if she killed her "soulmate?" "Oh, my God, no. Oh, my God, no," she answered. "He was my life. We were each others' life." McCready did admit to having fought with David the night of his death.
Randy Travis will be in a Sherman, Texas court this week and is expected to enter a guilty plea on those charges that he was driving drunk when he wrecked his car, and was found naked in the road near the crashed car. The Country District Attorney said the singer faces up to two years in jail and a $4,000 fine. But Randy's defense attorney, John Nix, said a sentence of probation is expected and that Travis is "looking forward to putting this behind him and moving on."
Zac Brown Band will perform at the Daytona 500 Pre-Race Show leading up to the start of “The Great American Race” at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday, February 24th on FOX-TV. Zac Brown Band will perform several songs prior to the start of the 55th annual Daytona 500 but not the National Anthem.
Lady Antebellum has the biggest chart debut of their seven year career with the release of “Downtown.” It stormed the charts at No. 25 on Billboard and No. 34 on Mediabase. “We really wanted to come out of the box on this album with some tempo and something with a little attitude,” said Lady A’s Charles Kelley. Charles says the group has some big plans to introduce this new music to the world.
Hillary Scott says she hasn't "been sick at all," with her pregnancy. But she has been "really, really tired" and "just sleeping a lot." She adds that she's noticed her eating habits have changed. Hillary explains that these days just the thought of ice cream makes her "gag," but that's something she's hoping "continues post-baby." Hillary is due in July. Hillary not buying too much baby items until she knows the baby’s sex. “I’ve been on Pinterest a lot looking at like nursery ideas and all that. But we need to know the gender before. I’m not gonna do, like, yellow, even though I love yellow.” she says.
