Jason Aldean is apparently hooked on Instagram. He has been posting some personal photos. Some of them classics, like him in a Tommy Hilfiger striped T-shirt and boy band hair with the caption, "This is what I looked like in 1994!!!!"

In less than a week, Tim McGraw will release his new album on Big Machine Records. Moving to a new label is just one of the big changes in Tim's over the past few years. He is now talking about how becoming clean and sober over the past five years was also a big change for him. He told People magazine, "I needed to stop. I felt quitting was something I needed to do. I didn't feel I had any moral high ground with my kids in the long run." "I'm in a good place right now," says McGraw. His Two Lanes of Freedom album will be released Tuesday (Feb. 5).
Soon you will be able to give you mail the stamp of approval from Johnny Cash. The Postal Service announced the Johnny Cash stamp will be issued this year as part of its new "Music Icons" series. The stamp will resemble the record sleeve of Johnny's 45 rpm record "Ring Of Fire." The post office says the Johnny Cash stamp will be one of three music icon stamps this year. No release date was announced though.
Blake Shelton has agreed to shake the hand of an Army vet who lost both arms in a bomb attack. Army vet Brendan Marrocco survived a bomb attack on his armored vehicle in Iraq in 2009 and six weeks ago, he became the first person to have a double-arm transplant. Marrocco made it known that he wanted his first handshake to be with Blake Shelton. Several tweets later and Blake got the message. He promised to do whatever it takes to make sure that happens and tweeted to Brendan, "I can’t WAIT to shake the hand of an American Hero/Stud… You my brother.” The big moment will have to wait for a while though. The Army vet is working on his rehabilitation following his transplant.
Brantley Gilbert will be the new face of Mountain Dew. After the announcement that Brantley had signed to endorse The Dew he said he had been a fan of Mountain Dew for as long as he remembers, ”I’m honored to be able to partner up with the Dew family for some exciting projects this year,” said Brantley.
Since we are talking soft drinks, it was also announced that Taylor Swift will be appearing in ads for Diet Coke starting soon.
