Looks like Wynonna Judd and Kellie Pickler will be on the new season of Dancing With The Stars.  The cast will be officially announced Tuesday, 2/26.

 

Blake Shelton credits Twitter for his famous public persona.  It probably led to producers of The Voice asking him to join the show.  Blake says it's ironic that his advisors told him to get off Twitter early on.  Blake says he was told he was destroying his career.  Blake disagreed, “I’m going to get on here and talk about the fact that I just went deer hunting. Or that I’m drunk. Or make jokes. I want to have a personality. The last thing I want to do is not offend somebody.  How do you matter if you don’t stand for something? You’re not contributing anything if you’re afraid all the time that you’re going to offend someone.” Blake says.

Lee Brice and his fiancé Sara are planning a destination wedding and they have picked the destination.  Branson, Mo.  They are getting married in April. Brice said they picked Branson because neither one wanted to get married in their hometowns.  He explained, "We talked about Nashville and every which way we looked at it was kinda like there were so many people that she didn’t know or so many people I would be meeting for the first time on my wedding day if we were going to be in Youngstown (Sara's hometown.)”   Lee said they will be inviting only their closest friends and family to the ceremony.

Twenty shows in 25 days took their toll on Randy Houser. He got sick and had to cancel a show last week. Randy was taken to a hospital before a concert in Utah but was not admitted. The doctors ordered him to rest at a local hotel. That did the trick.  Randy was back in business over the weekend. He has been on a cross-country tour since the Jan. 22 release of his third album, How Country Feels.

Adopt a horse from Willie Nelson.  Willie and his family are offering up horses through "Habitat for Horses."  Four are now up for adoption. These horses are currently living on Willie’s ranch in Luck, Texas. They are healthy and ready to go to a loving forever home. There will be a private funeral service for Mindy McCready Tuesday, 2/26 held by her family in Fort Myers, Fla.  Then, on March 6th, there will be a memorial organized by friends in the music industry at Nashville's Cathedral of the Incarnation. The country singer committed suicide on Sunday, Feb. 17.
