Eric Church's manager is denying that he tried to bribe a Nashville lawyer to change his mind about a new Tennessee ticket scalping law. Fielding Logan is accused of offering the attorney free concert tickets. But he says he made the offer to show how well the "paperless" ticket system works. Eric started using the paperless system last year. Supporters of the bill say it targets online hoarding, price gouging and forgeries. Opponents of the bill affects the legal transfer and gifting of tickets.

Taylor Swift is officially the top-selling digital singles artist of all time. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) added up 39.5 million singles downloaded by Taylor fans. The Red tour is officially underway. Taylor kicked it off this past Wednesday in Omaha. She will be in Wichita on August 6th. All stops on the tour are sold out.

 

Simon Cowell says he doubts that Carrie Underwood will replace Britney Spears as a judge on X Factor. Carrie sparked the speculation in a magazine interview this month when she hinted she would be open to being a judge on the TV talent show, "X Factor." But Simon Cowell, says "It's news to me. It really, really is. I don't think that's true. I mean, I adore Carrie. We found her on the show, but I don't know if that's true or not."
