    Lady Antebellum got a big surprise Tuesday night at James Brown Arena in Augusta, Ga, when an unscheduled musical guest show up. The Lakeside High School marching band appeared behind them playing the trio's smash hit, "We Owned the Night." The hometown surprise was part of a celebration of the threesome's popular Webisode Wednesday videos, and was captured to mark their 200th in the series. Since the Lady A webisodes debuted, the trio has parodied Blake Shelton, shared a Christmas-themed bedtime story and even let fans in on a recent songwriting session. To date, the webisodes have tallied more than 3.7 million views.

    Joe Nichols is a free agent now that he has parted company with Toby Keith’s Show Dog Universal Records. Joe had been with Universal for a decade, but tweeted the news Monday, saying “I,M FREE!!!!!” Followed by: “My plans are to make a record with people I trust and love and be at a happy home(label). Joe finally tweeted, “Just 2 be clear, I’m VERY thankful 4 showdog and what they have done 4 me. Our relationship has just reached its limits….” No word on where Joe is headed.

    Twenty three years after he arrived at the bus station in Nashville Tim McGraw went back to that same bus station to sign his new record deal. Tim announced that he's joined Big Machine Label Group's artist roster. The singer will now be represented by the same record label that Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride and Reba call home. "Many people know that I came to Nashville 23 years ago on a Greyhound bus with nothing but a guitar," Tim said. "And 23 years to the day, on May 9, I went back to the bus station and officially signed this deal. It was a significant way for me to mark this new beginning."

    Jason Aldean's tally of No. 1 songs has increased to nine, with "Fly Over States" having just reached the chart pinnacle. Most impressively, the tune is the fifth consecutive single from the country-rocker's My Kinda Party album to reach the top spot. "I've always loved this song, and I really hoped it would be a single eventually," says Jason. "I didn't know we would get to put out five songs off this album, let alone have all of them go to No. 1. It totally blows my mind." Although "Fly Over States" has been a hit with country radio listeners, Jason has taken the stance that he'd rather the song didn't resonate with another sector of the U.S. population: politicians.

    Justin Moore‘s band and crew were involved in a fatal car - bus accident Sunday. Justin broke the news via Twitter saying “Thankful my band and crew are all good. They got hit by a car this morning in their bus. Prayers go out to the guy who lost his life. And his family. You never know man. You have to be prepared to meet God today, cause it may be your last.” Justin was not on the bus at the time of the crash. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims family.

    The Enquirer is reporting that Jake Owen is going to be a dad. The tabloid says Jake and his wife Lacey planned the quick wedding over the Easter weekend after finding out that Lacey is pregnant. A source in the article said that Jake was overjoyed when he got the news about the baby and that he is a proper guy who felt the right thing to do was marry Lacey. The couple married at sunrise on a beach in Vero Beach Florida in front of a small group of family members and close friends. The Enquirer showed photos of the wedding showing Jake in a white shirt and khaki pants and Lacey in a full gown and veil.

    Miranda Lambert isn't done ragging on Eric Church about his Rolling Stone Magazine article that was critical of people who participate in televsion talent shows. Miranda does admit that Eric may not have realized what he was doing. "I think it’s sad that they portrayed him that way, and that he actually portrayed himself that way. You know, cut down his friends. He probably didn’t realize he was cutting down his friends when he did it. Either way, he just said something stupid, and it’s gonna take him a long time to make it up to people that he offended.“ Miranda expects some groveling from Eric the next time they meet face to face.

    If Brad Paisley were going to be a super hero he would be Batman, not Superman. The super guitarist explains, " Superman was always going to save this world and was sent here to do that. There's no getting around it. When you can fly and look that good in tight blue tights, you're gonna be a super hero. But Batman had to figure out ways to do it without super powers and I don't know, I feel more like that."

    A new type of talent show coming to the E! Entertainment network this year. "Opening Act" will go directly to rising YouTube talent by surprising them with the chance to perform on an A-list artist's tour. Participating tours include Brad Paisley and Jason Alden. The man behind the new show is the man who brought American Idol to us, Nygel Lythgoe. "There is an extraordinary amount of untapped talent out there," executive producer Lythgoe says. Opening Act premieres July 9 at 10 p.m. on E!.

    Eric Church has found himself in hot water with Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. "It's become 'American Idol' gone mad," he told Rolling Stone magazine about today's reality competition show craze. Eric said in his comments that it didn't make sense that Blake could turn his chair around and someone gets a recording contract. Eric is quoted as saying, "That's crazy. I don't know what would make an artist do that. You're not an artist." Miranda Tweeted Monday, writing, "Thanks Eric Church for saying I'm not a real artist. Or @kelly_clarkson, @carrieunderwood & @KeithUrban. Blake also tweeted about the controversial interview, writing simply, "I wish I misunderstood this."

    The Semifinals kick off on “The Voice” tonight (Monday, April 30) on NBC as all eight Semifinalists will each perform one song in addition to a group performance. Teams Blake and Christina unite to sing Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory. Plus Blake Shelton will do the world premier performance of his next single from the album Red River Blue. It is the track "Over" that will be the follow up to his #1 single "Drink On It."

    This year's Indiana State Fair has signed Blake Shelton for their country concert. But the concert will be at a different location than last year's Sugarland concert where seven fans were killed when the stage rigging collapsed during a storm before the concert. Blake's concert will be held at a fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

    Miranda Lambert has made People magazine’s list of the Most Beautiful Women of 2012. “I’m representing normal girls. It’s OK to have a little bit of curve. I’m happy with my body.     Brad Paisley will make a guest appearance on Comedy Central's South Park Wednesday (4/25) at 9pm CT. Paisley has two scenes as himself. In the first, Paisley sings the National Anthem prior to a Denver Nuggets basketball game and, in the second, he performs a duet with "Cartman."
