    Garth Brooks is being sued by a former business associate, who says she was hired to help launch his TV and movie career. LIsa Sanderson claims in the lawsuit that Garth's outrageous demands killed any potential deals, including acting roles in high-profile films such as Saving Private Ryan and Twister because he demanded the lead roles. The lawsuit goes on to call Garth a "paranoid, angry, deceitful and vindictive man who will turn against those closest to him on a dime." Sanderson wants $425,000 in damages. Garrth Brooks' rep has not made any statement as of this time.

    Blake Shelton didn't turn it chair around for country singer Julie Roberts when she auditioned last week. And, last night, he didn't turn his chair around for two country singers. One of them was a former singer with the Music Mafia and sang with Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson. But, Blake insists he is going to win this season of The Voice. "I'm going for it. I need the fans to get behind me. I want the triple crown. What is it in bowling when you hit three strikes, is it a 'turkey?' I am going for the 'turkey' of the voice." Good luck, Blake.

    Fan voting has begun for two ACM Award categories. Go to www.voteacm.com and cast a vote for the Entertainer of the Year award, which is the academy’s most prestigious award. Entertainer of the Year nominees this year are Blake Shelton, his wife Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift. Fans also will choose the ACM New Artist of the Year, for which Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer and Florida Georgia Line are the nominees. New Artist of the Year voting will close at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 7, before the live show starts, and Entertainer of the Year voting will close during the third hour of the live broadcast.

  • Miranda "Melts Down" In Fight With Fellow Shop Owner

    Miranda Lambert has been accused of threatening a fellow shop owner in her hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Shop owner Melanie Peden has filed a police report after she says Miranda threatened violence in her shop. Peden says that Miranda came into her store and had a foul-mouthed meltdown after she was accused of "stealing" her property. Peden says Miranda "had a complete meltdown and threatened to 'punch me in the mouth' if I kept talking." Peden continues in a National Enquirer story, "She's got a real anger problem and needs help. But I stood my ground and asked her to leave my store."
