    Kenny Chesney is the million ticket man. Well, actually he is the 10-million ticket man. Kenny has sold more than one million tickets for his Goin' Coastal tour this year. The achievement marks his eighth time surpassing a million tickets in a year. He has sold more than 10 million tickets since 2002.

    Brad Paisley is joining the national public education campaign, “1 for All” addressing a lack of understanding among the American public about the freedoms granted by the First Amendment. “Freedom is what makes America great,” said Paisley. “I count myself blessed to live in a country where I can exercise that right every day, whether I’m writing, recording or performing.” “1 for All” was established in response to recent surveys by the First Amendment Center, which found that only about 1 in 20 Americans can name all five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment.     Scotty McCreery walked away the big winner on the American Idol finale Wednesday night. Ryan Seacrest said that America voted 122 million times, an American Idol record. After his name was announced, Scotty said ""I've gotta thank the Lord first. He got me here." Scotty sat down on the floor while the applause and adoration poured over him. About his 16-year-old co-contestant, Lauren Alaina, Scotty wanted America to know that his win would not mean the end of their friendship."Man, it's been a year since me and Lauren Alaina tried out now," McCreery said. "Me and her have been together since day one, and we're gonna stay together."

    Rascal Flatts' 'I Won't Let Go' jumps three spots to land at the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck country chart, while Brad Paisley's 'Old Alabama' climbs to the top of Billboard's country chart. They trade places on the opposing charts with Brad at No. 2 on Mediabase/Country Aircheck and the Flatts in second place on Billboard. Miranda Lambert's recent No. 1, 'Heart Like Mine,' drops to No. 3 on both charts.

    He's hired! John Rich becomes the first country star to win Celebrity Apprentice, beating Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin. The country singer took home another $250,000 for his charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He raised over $1 million dollars. John said he had two goals going into Celebrity Apprentice. He wanted to be the first country artist to take home the title of 'Celebrity Apprentice' and he wanted to raise a lot of money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, " "When I decided to do the show, I had a personal goal of raising a million dollars.It was a gut feeling I had that I could raise a million, but come to find out."

    Reba is the most successful women in country music history, and she will be honored for that experience this Sunday when she is inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame this Sunday. When asked what advice Reba would have given herself 25 years ago, she says she wouldn't, "I don't think I would give me any advice because that would ruin it. If I said be patient, that would ruin the spontaneity or the ambitiousness that I have, and had, and the determination and the competitiveness that I've always had."

    Tim McGraw is being sued by Curb Records for breach of contract. Curb maintains that Tim violated his contract by recording songs that ended up on 'Emotional Traffic,' in "2008 or before" which they contend was too early. The suit asks the court to order Tim to record another album for the company. Tim says the request is a “stall tactic to add another year to my contract." Tim delivered 'Emotional Traffic' to Curb last fall but it has not been released by the record company. He says he will perform songs from 'Emotional Traffic' when he takes the stage tonight (5/19) at Intrust Bank Arena, so his fans aren’t completely missing out.

    It seems Shania Twain has found her voice again revealing her first new song in almost six years. Video footage from her new show on OWN shows Shania rehearsing a song called “Today Is Your Day,' marking the first performance footage of Shania in more than five years. (Watch it below.) "I wrote this song in real time as the series developed. I'm mixing the record now, and by the end of the series the song should be released. I'm so excited! I can't believe it!" Shania said she was unable to sing right after her painful divorce from husband Mutt Lang. “Why Not? With Shania Twain” airs Sunday nights on Oprah’s OWN Network.

    Lady Antebellum just keeps setting the bar higher and higher. Their latest singlem 'Just a Kiss', has made history. It debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart the week it was released, making it the highest debuting song by a country group in the 52-year history of the all genre chart. "Just A Kiss" also sold 211,000 copies in its first week, landing at No. 1 on the iTunes country singles chart and becoming the Lady A's fastest-rising single to date. It is the first single off the trio's highly-anticipated third studio album. It So, if there was any fear of not being able to follow the monstrous, Grammy-sweeping success of 'Need You Now,' the trio can now breathe a sigh of relief!

    It was the royal wedding of country music. On Saturday night, May 14, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton finally said "I do" at the Don Strange Ranch just north of San Antonio, Texas. The couple were joined by 550 of their closest family and friends, including Reba McEntire, Cee Lo Green, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley, Josh Kelley, Katherine Heigl, Neal McCoy, Kelly Clarkson, Laura Bell Bundy and the Bellamy Brothers. "I'm married to my best friend!" Miranda told US Weekly following the ceremony, for which she donned her mother's wedding dress. "Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter." There were a lot of blue jeans, stetsons and cowboy boots among the guests, who were treated to a traditional Texas barbeque complete with deer steaks and smokey sauce at the traditional American ranch.

    Farm Aid is coming to Kansas! Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews will lead a growing of entertainment this summer in Kansas City, Kansas August 13 for Farm Aid 2011 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. This is the first time Farm Aid has been held in Kansas. "Kansas has long been a traditional farm and agriculture state," said Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback. "We welcome Farm Aid to Kansas." The concert's arrival in Kansas comes at a time when the need to help farmers is higher than ever. Parts of Kansas are experiencing significant drought and tornadoes have wrecked some farms in Western Kansas.

    The country crowd is the most fun according to Nicole Kidman. She was already a staple on New York and Hollywood red carpets before marrying Keith Urban in 2006. Now she's gracing red -- and orange and black -- carpets in Nashville and Las Vegas. "The CMAs are the most fun of any award shows," Nicole tells the hosts of ABC's 'The View.' "It's a community down there [in Nashville]. Most people that are in the country music sort of industry live in Nashville. They all know each other, and it's just very tight and very supportive."

The superstar, who penned the song, 'There's a Place for Us,' with hit tunesmiths Hillary Lindsey and David Hodges, calls the opportunity an unforgettable experience, and one she owes to her mother's former career. "My mom used to read them in her classes when she was teaching. So I was definitely intrigued," Carrie explains to the Wall Street Journal. "The books were very entertaining. You could have a little imagination and still be able to read them and see pictures in your head. When I find books like that I always get very excited."

    Taylor Swift turns 21 Monday, December 13th. Taylor is hosting a low-key party with a seasonal theme, which is how she prefers to celebrate the milestone. "I love having a Christmas-themed birthday party so people can give each other presents at my birthday party, so it's not so much a spotlight [on my] birthday," Taylor tells Access Hollywood. "Especially with a 21st birthday, where people are like, 'Huh? Huh? What's she gonna do?' I didn't want it to be a crazy club thing. I just want it to be very me, and the me thing to do would be to have a Christmas birthday party."

    Lee Brice won't soon forgot 2010. His first Top 5 single, 'Love Like Crazy', was the year's hottest country song. Billboard's Hot Country Songs year end chart shows 'Love Like Crazy' was the most-heard country song on radio in 2010. 'Love Like Crazy' is also Lee's first gold-certified single. "Watching this song climb the charts is sort of like that rush I feel when I perform it live," Lee notes. "It's that gratification that someone out there is digging what I do, and it just doesn't get better than that."
