    Trace Adkins Says the only reason he is on Celebrity Apprentice All Stars this season is because his house burned down. Trace revealed that he will raise money for The American Red Cross. “It took my house burning down to get me to come back.” Trace says. The relief organization was there when Trace’s house burned down in 2011 and he wanted to pay them back, which is why he chose the Red Cross as his charity for this season of Celebrity Apprentice beginning March 3rd on NBC.

    Mindy McCready was found dead in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Several news outlets, including FOX and E! News, are reporting that Mindy committed suicide. The country singer's best friend confirmed to NBC reporter Andrea Canning that she shot and killed herself Sunday (Feb. 17).

"Wear your retainers, kids."

    Carrie Underwood brought home the Grammy for Best Country Song for Blown Away and she brought the Staple Center to it's feet when she performed in a "digital dress." For those who have been to one of Carrie's concerts, you know that she had done the light up dress thing in concert for years. But this one was a little different. In addition to lighting up, the dress also served as a digital screen for butterflies, roses, stars and abstract graphics dancing across the front of the ball gown.   • Wife Makes Keith Urban Burst Into Tears

    Keith Urban admits he burst into tears when he saw his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, on TV at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, Sunday (Jan. 27). At the same time, Keith was postponing and/or canceling concerts in flood-ravaged Australia. "When we finally got into Sydney, I got to the house, flicked on the TV and I got to see my wife (at the SAG Awards)," Keith told news.com.au. "I got to see what she was wearing. I hit pause on one shot and stood there staring at her ... and started crying. I hated the fact she was there without me, on her own. Ridiculous, right?"

  • Law & Disorder: Country Stars In Trouble

    Mindy McCready has addressed suspicions that she killed her boyfriend, David Wilson, the father to McCready's youngest son. Wilson was found shot to death in the couple's home and it was first reported that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Jan. 13. The police say they have not classified the death as suicide and are running forensic tests. Mindy called it a "witch hunt." (Watch the interview below.) NBC reporter Andrea Canning asked her point blank if she killed her "soulmate?" "Oh, my God, no. Oh, my God, no," she answered. "He was my life. We were each others' life." McCready did admit to having fought with David the night of his death.

    Dierks Bentley says he might pull a "Kanye" at the Grammy Awards. He is nominated for his song Home. "Let's look at the stats. I've been nominated for 12 (awards), okay? So, I'm pretty used to clapping for somebody else and the camera's right there. I got that down pretty good," Dierks laments. He says he might run up on the stage even if he doesn't win.

    Blake Shelton apologized for angering country legend Ray Price when he said during an episode of GAC’s “Backstory” that as 'Male Vocalist of the Year’ he is one of those people to decide if country music moves forward and if it moves on. "Nobody wants to listen to their grandpa’s music," he said in the interview. Ray Price released a statement about Blake's comments, saying, “Stupidity Reigns Supreme!" and predicted that Blake's music won't be remembered in 2075. Blake apologized to Mr. Price, calling him a "hero" but also said, "I meant every word I said. Country music is my life and it’s future AND past is important to me."     A singer named Summer Cunningham started a firestorm on American Idol Wednesday night (Jan. 23), that led to Nikki Minaj walking off the set and shutting down production. When Keith Urban asked Summer about her background, Cunningham replied, “I did the country thing for a while,” which he took issue with. “That’s like saying, ‘I did the brain surgeon thing,’” he said. “You’re either a brain surgeon or you’re not.” While Cunningham won her way to the next round in Hollywood with four unanimous votes, Nikki Minaj ended up in a heated, and sometimes profane, exchange with Mariah Carey over the singer's comment.     Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are engaged. Brantley rented out Nashville's Ryman Auditorium Sunday (Jan. 20) for the entire day -- which just so happened to be his 28th birthday -- and popped the question there. "I was so surprised!" Jana told People. "He asked my mom for permission before he proposed, which meant a lot to me." We knew the two were serious. Earlier this month, they bought a home in Nashville together. "We could not be happier!" the couple told People magazine. "We are so excited to share this special time with our loved ones and cannot wait to start the rest of our lives together."
