The exact type of cat being served... African lion, to be served on Feb. 16. Orders must be placed by 3 p.m. Feb. 7. Or "No Cat For You".
On their "Exotic Taco Wednesdays", Boca Tacos y Tequila has served up python, alligator, elk, kangaroo and rattlesnake along with a few other oddities. This may be the first time for cat though.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, the laws state that lion and other game meat can be sold as long as the species isn't endangered.
The cost for a African Lion taco $8.75 apiece.
So the question begs to be asked... would you try one?
