Brueski's Chicken Sliders with Cherry Barbecue Sauce

Who doesn't like barbecue? In this video I'll show you how to make one of my favorites barbecue sauces: Sweet and spicy cherry barbecue sauce. This sauce can really be mixed with almost anything. It's great on chicken as you will see in this video, it's also great on pulled pork, brisket, duck and virtually anything you would slathered in barbecue sauce. It's sweet and spicy. The best part is you can adjust how spicy you would like to be to fit your tastes. 

Here is the full recipe:

BBQ Chicken Sliders
You will need: 
1 Pack Mini Buns

4 Chicken Breasts

For Sauce:
2 Cups Ketchup
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
3 Table Spoons Molasses
1 Large Red Onion
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
1 Tablespoon Ground Coriander
2 Tablespoons Ground Fennel Seed
1 Tablespoon Cyan Pepper
3 Tablespoons olive oil
Salt/Pepper to Taste
 
To make the chicken: Grill or saute in a pan until fully cooked. Let rest for 10 Min's after cooking then roughly chop in to small pieces.

To make the BBQ Sauce: In a large saucepan, heat olive oil and add a the onion (finely chopped) and let saute on medium heat until browned. Add in 1/2 cup of cherry pie filling and stir, Then add in Ketchup, Molasses, Soy Sauce, Liquid Smoke, and all spices. 
Let simmer on low heat for 30 Min's. Taste and add additional seasoning to taste.
 
Combine the sauce and chicken in a bowl or sauce pan and mix well. Scoop out serving size portions on to mini buns and top with slaw mix if you would like.
