It's nice to be back in Wichita after my VERY FAST, long weekend in Virginia for a wedding. I'm going to start by saying, I LOVE AIR TRAVEL. It's safer than driving, the people watching values are OFF THE CHARTS and some airports are pretty cool: Charles De Gaulle in Paris is one of my favorite most beautiful airports!
This is a date I want you to put on your calendar.....SATURDAY MAY 16TH for the "Support Local Law Enforcement COMMUNITY Parade". There's a reason I capitalized COMMUNITY, because at the heart of it, that is the important driving force of what this parade is all about.
The following is a statement of the OBVIOUS. There is a TON of country music out there. It's hard, darn near impossible to listen to it all. Since moving to Wichita, one of the organizations I've really enjoyed helping when I can, is the Kansas Humane Society. In fact, my wife and I weren't in town 4 months and we added this guy to our family.
