Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, Newton, invites you to their bazaar "Christmas Around the World. " It is a fund-raising event to raise money for local, national and inter-national missions.  There will be a creche display from different countries.  Items for sale will include door mats from recycled materials - tires, wire and plastic bottles from Cookson Hills Center, Cookson, OK - that can be ordered; 2 kinds of baskets, carved wooden birds on a twig, wooden kitchen items,i,e.: cherry and walnut acorn salt and pepper shakers, cherry and walnut acorn toothpick holders; Porcupine toothpick holder, 2 kinds of rolling pins and beautiful note cards and envelopes from Red Bird Mission, Beverly, Kentucky - both United Methodist Church missions.  Vendors include - Gene's Wood Cuts, Tinker's Paradise, Peace Connections, Plus - fancy doll clothes, alpaca hats and yarn, home-made peanut brittle, home-made baked goods, and crafts.  Location: Trinity Heights United Methodist Church - Fellowship Hall, 1200 Boyd, Newton.  Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
