A bomb squad removed the devices Monday

WICHITA, Kan - Wichita police say the devices that were found Monday at a west side hotel turned out to be pipe bombs.

The devices were found by a maintenance worker in a third floor room at WoodSpring Suites at 7525 West Taft.   The area surrounding the room was evacuated and a police bomb squad removed the devices safely.
