Senator Jean Schodorf has received the endorsement of former U.S. Senator Nancy Kassebaum Baker in her quest for re-election in District 25.

Schodorf is opposed on the Republican ticket by Michael O'Donnell.

"I believe Jean to be the best qualified candidate, based on her experience as a state senator and school board member, as well as her considerable skill in finding solutions to difficult problems by working with people," Kassebaum Baker said. "I strongly support her candidacy and urge voters to re-elect her to the Kansas Senate."

Schodorf was elected to the Kansas Senate in 2000.

"I strive to represent Wichita much like Senator Kassebaum Baker represented Kansas in Washington - with integrity and honesty," said Schodorf.
