WICHITA, Kan. -
A 17-year-old was fatally shot Sunday night, near 23rd and Minnesota.
Wichita police say a friend of the teen directed officers to the suspect, saying it was the victim's dad.
The 41-year-old man was arrested, and has since been booked for second-degree murder.
According to police, the two were arguing, when the dad pulled the gun and fired. Investigators say they've gotten a couple different accounts, as to exactly what the argument was about.
This is the seventh homicide in Wichita in 2017.
