Someone in south central Kansas is holding a Powerball ticket worth $1 million.
The player matched the first five Powerball numbers in the June 30 drawing, winning the cash prize. The winning numbers were 07-15-20-41-44, Powerball 22.
The ticket was purchased somewhere in south central Kansas, which includes: Sedgwick, Butler, Harvey, Reno, Sumner, Cowley, Kingman, Barton, Rice, McPherson, Marion, Stafford, Pratt and Barber counties.
This is Kansas’ second Powerball Match 5 $1 million prize under the game’s new prize structure, which began Jan. 15. The first Match 5 $1 million prize was claimed in April by a Topeka resident who wished to remain anonymous.
