Oxford man killed in Sumner Co. crash
The Kansas Highway Patrol said an Oxford man was driving west on U.S. Highway 160 Wednesday when his vehicle started to drift into the oncoming lane.
Lane Parson, 30, was driving just east of Oxford when his Jeep crashed head-on into an oncoming semi. The crash was reported at 11:57 a.m. Parson died a couple of hours later.
The driver of the Kenworth big rig, 50-year-old David Kelley of Wichita, was injured while trying to avoid impact. His condition was not immediately available.
