KDOT offers reminder about political campaign signs
With the campaign season warming up, KDOT wants to remind the public that it is illegal to place political campaign signs on highway right of ways.
The Kansas Department of Transportation said any signs placed on highway right of ways across the state will be collected and taken to KDOT offices.
Sign owners can collect their signs at KDOT offices as long as they agree not to place them on highway right of ways again. Any signs not picked up will be disposed of after the election.
