Wichita BOE elects Rogers, Davis to top spots
The Wichita Public Schools Board of Education unanimously elected Lynn Rogers as its president for the upcoming year.
Rogers has been on the board since 2001. He replaces Betty Arnold.
Jeff Davis takes over as the vice-president after receiving five votes. Davis, a board member since 2007, replaces Connie Dietz.
Rogers and Davis began their roles at the completion of the BOE meeting on July 9. Arnold and Dietz will continue to serve as members of the seven-person board.
